Tirme and Fundació Deixalles have a collaboration agreement that has been in place since 2002, favoring the labor insertion of people in a situation or at risk of social exclusion.

With this donation, Tirme will make possible that during 1 year two people in vulnerable situations receive an insertion aid and can participate in the Iitinerarios pre-labor program. The participants can improve their personal, transversal and labor competences with the support of the monitor team and the social technical team. In this way, they increase their chances of finding employment.

The donations from the grants for insertion are used to finance the workshops and training of the participants of the project “Itinerarios prelaborales” (Pre-labor itineraries). These people are in a situation of social exclusion and have various social problems, serious economic difficulties and few personal skills to access the labor market, which makes it very difficult for them to enter the labor market.

Through the Foundation's various social and environmental workshops, activities related to the environment and participation in the community, the participants recover their self-esteem, self-confidence and self-assurance, the ability to put their lives in order and the hope of a second chance that will enable them to actively join society and the labor market. 

In 2023, 180 people benefited from the pre-labor itineraries project, 93% of whom improved their social skills and labor competencies, and 32% managed to find employment.

In many cases, the insertion assistance provided by Fundació Deixalles is the only economic income that the person has while they are completing their itinerary.
